Crisis Management
PNGI's team includes a master level instructor certified through the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) that can address each of the four key areas of Crisis Management, through training, consultation or reviews and assessments.
Prevention: Understanding the nature of a crisis, how a crisis developes and how to recognize things that could trigger a crisis can all contribute to the prevention of crisis situations.
Preparation: Ensuring you have the knowledge, training, systems and supports in place to be ready to respond when a crisis happens.
Intervention: Training and knowledge of how to respond in a crisis situation, to protect yourself, those around you and your property from serious injury or harm.
Postvention: Understanding the importance of diffusing, debriefing and learning from your experiences to increase your capacity and confidence for dealing with crisis in the future.
