Empowering people towards excellence.

PNGI’s 2011 Xmas Party was great fun!

2011 has been an exciting and action packed year for the team at PNGI.  It's always nice to gather together to celebrate and enjoy each other's company during the Christmas season.  This year as our team is growing we decided to try something a bit different for our company Christmas party.

We arranged to have a Christmas lunch this year and then spend the afternoon socializing and engaging in some fun projects.  We were lucky to have Chef James at Blackstones Restaurant and his staff agree to open the restaurant on a Saturday just for us during lunch (they are generally only open for dinners).  We took up the whole restaurant for an afternoon of fun!

We had three stations:

1. Edible Creation Station, led by Tamara and her daughter with lots of other helpers.  We made miniature gingerbread houses, ice cream cone Christmas trees, and marshmallow snowmen!  It was amazing to see the creativity shown by even the youngest PNGI associates!

2. Christmas Crafty Station, led by Bonnie and Chris.  We made some very cool candy cane heart and reindeer ornaments, as well as beaded candy canes!

3. Christmas Triva Game Show, led by Mary-Jo.  Mary-Jo took groups through a batch of 10 questions related to Christmas movies and music trivia.

The food was great and the company was awesome.  From our first year (20 years ago) with just Marg, Chris and one employee to a restaurant filled with 32 people... the team has really grown!

Here's to an amazing year in 2012 as PNGI officially celebrates 20 years of Empowering People Towards Excellence!
